Deerwood Elementary School is located in Thompson, Manitoba approximately 700 kilometers north of Winnipeg. We have a population of 230 students in grades K to 8. Deerwood is very proud to be a community leader in Environmental issues. 
 
 

Our school was a centre for a voluntary recycling depot which was the fore-runner of the Blue Box program, now in use throughout the city. We hope to continue to recycle!
