Welcome to Kindergarten

We have a new program for our K students attending in September 2009.  All K students who registered before May 22 were invited to our “Welcome to Kindergarten” evening on May 27 at 6:30 for K students and parents.  The students met their new teacher and participated in several activities like reading, using play dough, coloring and cutting, and using magnetic letters.  Parents received advice on getting their child ready for Kindergarten.  All participants also received a “Welcome to Kindergarten” tote filled with books, crayons, play dough, magnetic letters and numbers, and a scrapbook to use over the summer.
