Its really good to see familiar names from a fantastic time in my life. When I went to the classmates page and saw you guys there already, the first thing I thought was, well... some people just have too much time on their hands, just kidding. Actually, the memories from my two years in RDPC put a big grin on my face, but when I saw that a 25th was in the works, well I realized that that grin was really just a bunch of wrinkles ;o. I met great friends and look forward to once again revisiting fun times at the reunion this summer. (July 19 / 20 /21). I will be hosting a friends of Thompson Golf Tournament on the 20th which will be bonding at it's finest. For some of you, you probably would remember me better by Mary. One of those things...it was my first name, but certainly was never used to that name. Anyway, I still live in Thompson, left for about four years, but have been back for the past 19 years. I also have a daughter, Ashley, 4 years old a couple of weeks ago. I have been working for Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak (MKO) for the past 13 years as the Financial Administrator. I was pleased to see some of the names on the list so far, I have often wondered where everyone went. I hadn't heard of the reunion but it would be a good idea to have one. Lyle and I have been married for 18 years and have two children, Chris 16 and Heather 12. Lyle is a Natural Resource Officer and I'm an Educational Assistant at the school. Lyles career has meant that we move quite often and have called quite a few places home at one time or another including ,Birds Hill Park, Bissett, Whitemouth, Gillam, and Wabowden. We have been in Leaf Rapids for four years now. The fishing is great so feel free to drop by! My mom (Frances Coe) former RD Parker librarian lives in Lethbridge, Alberta.

I haven't been back to Thompson in 20 years but will be going to Miami, Manitoba for a family reunion in July.

My husband (of 23 years) Roger and I moved to Wasaga Beach 4 years ago after retiring from the military. I'm now an assistant manager at Sears. I have a grown 20 year old daughter, Anjolie, going to college in Kitchener, and a 16 year old son Daniel who's 6'4" tall and loves basketball. We love living here close to the longest fresh water beach in the world, and our plan is to settle here indefinitely. My parents are now living in Winnipeg. Would love to see a reunion happen, and I wouldn't miss it for the world.

It's amazing how much you can forget over time. I'd completely forgot about the "bear-pit", but remember watching hockey game of 72 Summit series on the school's TV and working the curtains for the school play, "The King and I" - what a blast. My family moved to Edmonton the summer after I finished grade 9 and I haven't been back since. It would be great to see some more pictures from those days or even some class lists... many things got lost in the move. Thanks for the memories, keep up the great work!

My little sister Debbie showed me the RDPC website and it was great to see familiar names and find out where you are all today! As for me . . my family left Thompson in 1974, and I finished grade 11 and 12 at Killarney Collegiate (SW Manitoba). I entered the faculty of science at Brandon University and graduated with my B.Sc. in Psychology in 1979. From there, I headed to Red Deer where I continued my career focus working with adults with developmental disabilities. I specialized in working with clients with behavioural issues. While in Alberta I met and married a road musician from the east coast and embarked on a journey that bounced us from Alberta to Nova Scotia, Manitoba, Ontario then PEI, finally settling in Sydney, Cape Breton. I made a career transition then from Community Support to the business world for seven years. During my 14 year marriage I experienced, and saw a lot of things, including the reality that I could not let someone elses addition destroy my life. I left Cape Breton (and the husband)in 1996, and returned to Manitoba. I found work in Neepawa (as CEO and back in my choosen feild) til 2000, when I relocated with a freind to Beasejour. I live six miles east of town on a great little acerage with my own brook. I have a dog and eight cats that substitute as my family. The pristine wilderness of the pre-cambrain sheild provides me the comfort and familiarity of my life in Thompson. I am currently employed as the Business Manager of the Whiteshell Campus of the Deep River Science Academy in Pinawa. Check out our website at www.drsawhiteshell.ca ! I spent time working in Montreal developing aboriginal pilot programs for Seneca Productions. This led me to Terrace, BC where I was Executive Producer of Radio for an Aboriginal Radio Network. When the opportunity arose to research for CBC Radio Current Affairs Vancouver, I gladly accepted. I went on to co-host the CBC Radio Current Affairs morning show, Daybreak based Prince Rupert, British Columbia. The constant threat of "cuts" prompted me to change careers. I took a business course which allowed me to Manage the Gillnet Fleet for Ocean Fisheries Ltd. in Prince Rupert. I am currently completing my Administration Degree with an Organization Concentration through Athabasca University. Learning is growing.
