Hello all! I just heard about the upcoming reunion from Rob Kruk. After graduation from RDPC I went to Red River Community College. Graduated as a Computer Analyst Programmer in 1984. Returned to Thompson after graduation and joined the RCMP in 1985 as a Telecoms Operator. Was stationed in Thompson for almost 10 years. In 1996 I was transfered to Winnipeg (Division HQ). I've been in Informatics as a Computer Analyst/Network Administrator since then.
I've managed to keep in touch with some of the people I went to RDPC with and and look forward to seeing everyone again at the reunion.

I was goofing around, looking up some background material, when I happened to stumble upon this web site. It's been many years since I've revisited Thompson... not my favorite place for reasons best unsaid.
Since my infamouse days in Thompson, I've managed to create quite a wonderful and fulfilling life for myself. After I left Thompson I modeled and waitressed for a few years. I finally settled down with a wonderful man; a scientist from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. In the nineteen years that have ensued thus far, I graduated from the University of Tennessee Summa Cum Laude, worked in the mareketing and radio industries, and then I came home to be a SAHM after I had our beautiful daughter in 1994. Presently, we are living in the Washington, DC area. My husband, Chuck, is the Chief Science Advisor to the Battle Command General for the Missile Defense Agency. While he works and travels, I busy myself with the usual SAHM duties and various volunteer activities in the community. In addition to this, I managed to squeeze out time to complete a novel. The first of many to come... a life long dream has been realized.
It's been fun reading all the messages on the board. And it's nice to see that we've all grown up and made good lives for ourselves... despite the crazy, zany, two hotel, one bowling alley and theater, skipping school and general apathy Thompson definitely inspired in me.

It was so neat to read about old class mates on this site and whow how those names seem just like yesterday. Has it really been twenty years, am I that much older now. I joined the RCMP in 1982 as a Radio Operator, reloating to Vancouver in 1989 doing 9-1-1 radio positions. I left the force and took up early retirement, went back to school and became a computer programmer, I wrote medical software for BC Cancer Agency and the World Health Organizaton. Two children, boys, ages 4 & 6. Toured most of North America on variuos motorcycles before the kids came into the picture, still enjoy cruising out to Paint Lake on my Harley. I am still playing some hockey in winter and last summer I learned to fly so purchased a small plane-lots of fun.

Hello everyone! Remember me? Quiet and shy Cidalia? After graduating from RDPC in '81, I moved to Portugal and started a degree in Languages and Modern Literatures at the University of Lisbon. After 3 yrs. I moved back to Cananda. I graduated from York University, Toronto, where I majored in English Studies. The following year I went to Brock Univer., in St. Catharines where I received my BA in Education. I'm presently living in beautiful Sintra, just outside Lisbon. I'm an English and Drama teacher at The American International School of Lisbon. My husband, Stephen, is an engineer. He is half English, half Scottish. Hi everyone! I currently live in Dauphin Manitoba and work as a specialist physician in Internal Medicine. I moved from Thompson to The Pas in 1979 where I graduated from high school at MBCI. I spent 11 yrs at the University of Manitoba where I received my B.Sc. in Sciences then an M.D.in 1988 and my F.R.C.P.C. in Internal Medicine in 1992.
I have been in Dauphin now for 10 years. Very busy!! I have two boys, Adrian and Cory aged 7 and 5, and am currently divorced. It's been a long time since I have seen a lot of the names listed and would be thrilled to hear from anyone who remembers me. I play golf avidly, work out a lot and enjoy time spent with my children. Hello everyone!! 20 years have flown by. We won't be able to make the reunion in July, so thought I would write and say hi.
Dennis and I left Thompson in 1981, went on to Medicine Hat as Dennis was playing in the WHL, which then took us to Vancouver, B.C. In July 1988, moved to the Yukon (career advancements). We have one child, Daniel (11). You may remember Bunne Smith (now Palamar), she lives in Whitehorse as well.
I have worked as a Judges' Assistant for the Territorial Court of Yukon for the past 12 years. Dennis is the assistant manager of the Whitehorse liquor store. We keep very, very busy with hockey and family activities. Life is great!!
We wish all of you a great time at the reunion in July.

Message: After high school, I attended University in Saskatoon, graduating in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics. I then returned to Thompson and worked for INCO in their IT Department for a few years, before moving to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, programming Defence systems for the Saudi Ministry of Defence and Aviation. I lived there for a little over 4 years, then migrated here to Australia after travelling extensively around the world. I have been Managing Director of a computer consulting company in Australia for 10 years now and live in a great house on the water on the Isle of Capri. Not married and no kids, but been in a relationship for 12 years now. The reunion in 2001 was great....shame I only flew in for the one day/night, but glad it coincided perfectly with a trip to Canada I was on, and good to see old faces again after so many years!

May 2004. I just received this link from Rocky Jervis, so forgive me if I am a little late. I live in Calgary with my wife, Gloria, of 16 years and four children ages 7, 5, 2 and 4 months. I graduated from high school in Saskatoon, where I was playing hockey, and then went to university where I earned an engineering degree and an MBA. Gloria has a PhD in Education and worked for Mrs. Fenuick while she was running the Calgary Board of Education. I own and operate four businesses with over 350 employees. My latest acquisition is based out of Winnipeg with 7 stores across the country and is called St. John's Music - some of you may have rented instruments from them. I keep thinking it is time to take the kids back to Thompson for some fishing - maybe this summer. I still see Larry Loftus, Brad Wellock and Rocky Jervis.
