I know others have said it, but I can't believe that 20 years have passed. Those of you who knew me back then would be shocked to find that I went into Accounting. I graduated in 1987 with a Business Administration degree from the University of Winnipeg and then went on to complete my C.G.A. in 1992. Currently, I am the Controller of a manufacturing company. Allan and I have now been together almost 22 years. We married in 1989 and have lived in Winnipeg, Sioux Lookout ON, Swan River MB and now, Yorkton SK. Along the way, we had two beautiful daughters, Kira (born 1997) and Tianna (born 1999), who keep us both very busy. We still have family in Thompson, so we get back every year for a visit. I'm still a Thompson boy, employed by INCO. Currently, I am completing a degree in mining engineering at the University of British Columbia. While attending school eight months of the year, I live with my fiancée Alix in Vancouver. The other four months of the year I work and reside in Thompson with my three terrific daughters, Rebecca (12), Mary (11), & Kimberley (9). After 38 years (in April 2004), I will have finally figured out the damn math, and will graduate from engineering. (Nb: Niemi & Rempel -> You have to attend the classes to pass the courses). I should be in town for the reunion, so if Belton, McIvor, Niemi, Rempel, Nightengale, Wilson, Bindle, Wood and that damn Hawkins aren't too old to keep up with the beer drinkin', it should be a real 'barn-burner'! I didn't graduate from RDPC in 1983, but I WOULD have, had my father not been transferred to Fredericton, NB in the summer of 1980, so I hope you don't mind me signing this page ;) I did graduate from Fredericton High School in 1983, attended the University of New Brunswick, and later the Univ. of British Columbia (UBC), where I graduated with a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. I met my husband, Jamie, at the UBC Film Society in 1988. We married in 1999 in beautiful Seward, Alaska, and currently live in Vancouver, where I work as a pharmacist(Jamie has a Master's degree in Film Studies, but recently switched to a career in computer programming). A big "hello" to any of my old classmates from RDPC who are reading this!!

It is really interesting to see what everyone is doing and where they are. As for me, I'm still in Thompson (never left). I am divorced with 2 wonderful children. Candace is 15 and Tyson is 12 1/2. I have been working with the Province of Manitoba in a Consolidated Human Resource Unit for Aboriginal & Northern Affairs and Transportation & Gov't Services for the last 2 years. Previously to that I did Payroll @ Calm Air for 16 years. The change has been a very positive one for me. Anyways, I would love to hear from anybody that may still remembers me.

I'm currently working for the Burntwood Health Authority (16 years in healthcare)as the Regional Recruiter and I love it!! I enjoy attracting people to Thompson and the surrounding region... a little tough sometimes, especially given the nature of our weather... I have a beautiful 3 year old daughter named Hanna who is the center of my life.... currently unattached (this sounds like an ad in a SINGLES column!!)I travel to Portugal yearly to visit my family who have all left Thompson and moved overseas....
