I returned to Thompson and started working in the nursery at TGH for 7 years, then went to the Operating Room for 2 years, now I am back on the maternity ward, working in Labour and Delivery. I got married to Rolly in 1992 and we have 2 great kids, Ryan 4yrs and Veronica almost 2 yrs. We are all busy learning American Sign Language so that we can talk to Ryan who has a Severe Hearing Loss. It's great to see familiar names and maybe we can get together for a reunion soon!

Moved from Richer to Ste Anne (only about 5 km from where I lived before)...live just off #1 Hwy East. House is almost twice the size and now have 100 acres instead of 3. Have a barn too and 2 large ponds. LOVE IT! Of course, no kids at home anymore. I am married, as you can tell from my name. My husband, Eyves has two sons from a previous marriage, Philip is 21 and Andrew is 18. We have animals too (newest addition: a minature horse)! I sure do LOVE country living. My family and I have just recently moved into the Oak Bank/Winnipeg area and we are really enjoying it in the South. My Childen Whitney(10),Stepheny(9)and Marco(4)are also enjoying the country life. My husband Carlos is now the Maintance Manager of Green Steel Industries. I am working with Metis Child and Family Services and enrolled in the faculty of Social Work. I haven't kept in touch with any Thompsonites at all, so it was really interesting to read about what some of you have been up to. I was struck by how much we've all grown up! Speaking of being grown-up, I now have 3 kids, two boys and a girl, ages 1,3 and 5, one husband, and a minivan. We live in Calgary, along with Carol Henke and numerous others. I'm at home with the kids full time at the moment, but after slaving away all those years to get that MD, I don't plan on wasting it. I'll probably go back at least part time when the baby is a bit older....( thats what I said after number two as well!) If anyone has any information about Preet Pal, Deanna Locker or Russ Bugera I would love to know where they are!

Grade twelve was the best three years of my life. Anyway..... My wife and I (Lacy)along with our three children, Riley(8), Thomas(5) and Lily (2) left Thompson in 2002 after buying a home in Northern Ontario. I left to take a new job with Inco in Sudbury. I never took the new job. I spent most of last two years taking courses towards my degree in Commerce and started a new career as an advisor with Sun Life Financial(Clarica). My wife Lacy works for a Marketing firm in North Bay and our two oldest children attend an all french school in Sturgeon Falls. I finally live on a lake. I manage to keep in touch with quite a few people from back in the day and wish everyone happiness and health in the future.

Location: Calgary, Alberta Message: June 23 2005 I haven't checked this page in awhile but I am glad I finally did. We are slowly drying out from the flood here in Calgary and gearing up for stampede. I am really looking forward to the reunion planned for next year. Both my mom and sister now live here in Calgary so my trips up north are definitely less frequent. I have been with the Calgary Fire Department almost four years now but still do some casual public health nursing on the side with the Needle Exchange Program (keeps my work life varied and interesting) My husband (Scott)and I just moved into a new house so are therefore slowly getting settled. I have been a pharmacist for 10 years (5 in Thompson and 5 in Alberta). In 1994, I married my wonderful husband, Shawn Cripps. He is also a pharmacist and Thompsonite. We each own a Shoppers Drug Mart franchise, on opposite ends of Edmonton. We live East of the city, with our spoiled dog, in Sherwood Park. 2001 was a difficult year for my family. In April, our family cabin, for the past 30 years, at Paint Lake burnt down. Then in September, my Dad died after 2 1/2 years with cancer. My Mom is still selling real estate in Thompson and Shawn's parents are retired in Thompson. We try to get back home once a year to see them. Take care, Dee

My husband Mike and I now have two boys - Everett who is 5 and Parker who is 2 years old. We still live in Calgary and really enjoy it out here. After Parker was born I decided I would try being a stay-at-home mom but over the past year I have taken on a number of contracts that I can work on mostly from home. I finished my Masters in Health Administration a few years ago which has opened the doors to working in not only Nutrition initiatives but project coordination programs as well. ( I prefer to work in the area of health promotion)I feel like I have the best of both worlds! Hope everyone is doing well.

In the year 2000 I married a fellow skating coach Ben Russenholt. We owned and operated a Sport Store in Winnipeg; but have recently moved to Kingston, Ontario. Some things have since changed and some have stayed the same. I am married(1991) to Michelle and we now have two wonderfull kids. Anna(2years) and Jeffrey(2 months). We live in Bragg Creek which is just outside of Calgary. I commute to work in the city but we get to live out in the woods. Oddly enough it looks a lot like Setting Lake(but without the water) I was surprised to see how many people are living in the same city as I am and I didn't know it! I graduated from the U of M in 1990 and began teaching in Thompson, then I got married and so I'm still here. But now I have two beautiful girls, Allison 4 1/2 yrs. and Camryn 2 yrs. I married Allan Turton and we love our summers at the lake. I am the K-4 resource teacher at Westwood School. Darlene Thompson teaches grade 7 at WW too.
