I never went to RD Paker because I left Thompson in Grade 7 and moved to Winnipeg. However, I reconized a few names of some people I went to school with in grade 6/7. I lived in Thompson for 2 1/2 years, and went to school at Riverside and Westwood. Maybe you remember me! Who knows! The only person that I've kept in touch with is Riz Fazal.
I've been living in Halifax, Nova Scotia for the last 15 or so years and currently employed with Maritime Life as an Analyst. I am currently married and have a lovely daughter named Jorryn. The only people I can remember from those days are Andrew Murray, Damian Nicoles, Sheri Poleschuk and Riz. Anyone else out there remember me, drop me an e-mail Cheers!

It's wonderful to be able to keep in touch with the good old r.d.p.c. students! After earning my degree at U of M 1994, I ventured out to travel Europe for six months and work in Delft,Holland. Unknown to me I ended up staying in Europe for three years and got to enjoy the thrills of back-packing and living the "european lifestyle" It sure was different from thompson.(How the heck did I end up back here?) It would be wonderful to hear from former students.

Aug. 2004: What a fabulous website(could this be Mr. Freeman's creation)? It is nice to see how everyone is doing. Thanx to those who have put in the hardwork to keep it up and running. As for me, I am living in Tokyo with my wonderful Japanese husband. We have been married for 3 years. He is an international lawyer who studied at Cornell University and worked in San Francisco so luckily, his english is very good. I am able to speak some Japanese but writing is very difficult: Kanji, Katakana, and Hirogana are the three different writing styles used. I am a housewife but also teach part-time. My students are business ladies or housewives and a joy to teach..no classroom discipline problems here.
We enjoy taking in broadway shows and eating at the many different restaurants that Tokyo has to offer. With over 10 million people living here, there is always something going on. We enjoyed visiting my parents in Victoria where they have retired to and are looking forward to them coming to Tokyo in October ' 04.

25 March 2007 - Hello all. Found this website quite by accident a few months ago, but the guestbook wasn't up then. Man, how far out of the loop have I been? Well, no matter. I've been living in the 'Peg now for 12 years now. I'm working in one of the call/contact centres here, and I've also been acting for about 5 years. Yeah, acting! Part of a comedy duo in the city; I guess I sorta fulfilled my future ambition in the yearbook. In a weird sort of way. If you ran into me in the street now, you'd probably not recognize me. Where to start...well, I just got married to Ryan Davis on March 26, 2005
here in Winnipeg. Everything is going well. I am working for Standard

Update Sept 2004- Well, things have changed a bit since my last
update. Am still living in Brandon, my son is now almost 11 years old (and
he's brilliant, by the way, so much smarter than his mom!). Was married,
but am now separated and seeing a wonderful guy (took him to Thompson for
the first time this past summer- he really enjoyed Popeye's!). Just bought

Hi everyone,
I am currently living in Thompson and working as the principal of Juniper School. After I graduated from RDPC I attended Brandon University and in 1995 graduated with my Education Degree. In 1995, teaching jobs were very hard to come by so I ended up working in South Indian Lake for a year, then Thicket Portage for two years, then Wabowden for a year. Finally, things were beginning to open up in Thompson and I hired on as the Vice-Principal at Juniper School. After three years the Principal-ship became vacate and low and behold I got the job. I sometimes wonder what the school board was thinking giving me such a big responsiblity. When people ask me what I do I generally say that I get paid to gives kids sh-t all day. I am only kidding, for the most part it is a great but, it can get pretty crazy some days. I got married almost 5 years ago but still have no chidren. My husband's name is Trent and he works for Man. Telephones. It was very interesting reading about what everyone has been up to. I have to go I have a kid crying outside of my office (someone must have roughed them up at recess). I am sure you can all relate this to your elementary school days. Nice talking to you all!

September 2003 - two years have gone by and my last message was a little dated (and my e-mail address has changed). I am still working at NAV Canada, Winnipeg Air Traffic Control Centre and love every minute of it. Eric is still flying for Air Canada and fortunately for us with all of the re-structuring Air Canada has done, he has managed to hold his first officer position on the airbus in Winnipeg. Our daughter Payton turns six in December and has started grade one. Wow! Where has the time gone? Nicholas is our latest (and last) addition and he is now 17 months old. He is quite busy these days and keeps me on my toes to say the least. Hope all is well for everyone! Cheers, V

Nov 30/2002 Well looks like I am one of many that made it out! My husband of 8 1/2 years and daughter Kennedy 6 and son Lane 5 escaped 3 years ago. We spent 6 months in Saskatoon and then moved to the Burbs. For a small town with a big reputation Martensville is everything you could want in a place to raise your family. The kids are currently involved in hockey (suprise! suprise!) Another generation of Rink Rats!!! Danny is now in the sales area of the Autobody industry and is basically riding it out and will likely go back to painting in the future. As for myself I never did go back to teaching after I had Kennedy and most likely won't. I am currently working at Employment Canada in the claims prep department and looking to move into an agent position or...???? Who knows? Hope everyone is doing well especially it being the year that most of us turned 30!!!! UGHHH! If anyone would like to e-mail me please do or overnight on your way to Calgary again. Donna? July 18,2003 There's been lots of changes for me since RDPC. I was married,divorced and married again. Les and I were married Aug 2002 giving me an instant family of four.
